The Pattaya Gay festival has been in existence since 2001 and in that time has raised more than 29 million Thai Baht mainly for HIV/AIDS related charity use.
At the end of 2009 it was decided to change the name of ‘Pattaya Gay Festival’ to ‘Pattaya Pride’ as it was felt that this name was more inkeeping with similar organisations around the world and to also reflect that we are Proud to be gay and here in Pattaya.

The PGF year starts in February with an opening street party and concludes around 01 Dec (World Aids day) with a Boyztown Street Party. Throughout the interviening months there is usually at least one event per month organised by either Pattaya Pride or supporters. These events include dinners at different restaurants, sports activities, entertainment evenings at various bars, fun competitions and street/beach parties.
