Following the cancellation of the planned Beach Party on Saturday 29 Nov the Pattaya Gay Festival 2008 finale started on Sunday 30 November with the traditional gala dinner at Bruno’s restaurant in Jomtien. Around 70 diners dined on a delicious menu created by Chef Freddie. The Australian Beef Tenderloin simply melted in the mouth. Madame Jim was the MC for the evening and promised not to take too much money from us for in the lucky draw! The star prize of the draw was a 1baht Gold Chain with a value of 14,000 Baht. Other interesting prizes included several pieces of artistic decorations as well as the usual bottles of wines, champagne and sprits along with the plethora of vouchers for a variety of bars, restaurants, massage and hotels. These included the famous Amor Carrot Cake.
The total raised on the night, including dinner ticket sales and lucky draw sales totaled almost 100,000 baht.
