The final Pattaya Gay Festival event for 2008 was the traditional Boyztown Street Party held on Tuesday 2 December 2008. The them for this years party was 'Boyztown Spectacular' and was kicked off by the fabulous El Duo singers. The MC for the evening’s glamour and glitter entertainment was Madame Jim from Boyz Boyz Boyz who was assisted by Glenda from Copa. Almost 400 people paid to see the spectacular shows given by the dancers and performers of Boyz Boyz Boyz, Copa, Madame Jim and Glenda, the Dolly Sisters, and Alfie.

A lucky draw was held with the top prizes being 2 half baht gold chains, a very nice watch and a ring. Madame Jim promised that due to the current economic situation he would not persuade us to buy too many lucky draw tickets as he usually did!

Duck from Croatia donated a trombone to be auctioned which he had bought it in an auction in Bangkok. The lucky bidder was Peter from Copa who paid 30,000 Baht.

An anonymous donor gave a magnificent 100,000 Baht.

The lucky draw raised 93,000 Baht.

The Boyztown businesses have also agreed to donate 10% of their food and drink sales for the evening.

This will bring the total raised to around 300,000 Baht.
