On Sunday June 20 2008 Le Cafe Royale, in Boyz Town, hosted their second annual "Three Divas" Dinner Show to benefit Pattaya Gay Festival charities.

After dinner the audience were entertained by the Three Divas - Miss Summers (Ronnie Summers from the USA), La Toya (Le Cafe Royale's very own singer Toi) and Miss Jason (Jason from Brighton, England).

The Divas sang a selection of songs live and amused the crowd with their wit. Especially Miss Jason with her satirically camp humor and the story about the "hotel sofa and Madame Jim".

Jim from Ambiance then announced that one million baht had already been raised by PGF so far this year. He also explained that he couldn't appear in this year's "Divas" as he had run the Pattaya Marathon earlier that day to raise money for PGF.

He told us that he had raised 960,000 Baht in sponsorship. Glen and Peter, owners of Copa Showbar (formerly Throb Splash) then donated 40,000 Baht to bring the sponsorship to a fantastic one million baht. Duck of Croatia then rasied this amount even further by donating a further 100,000 Baht.

All of this fantastic generosity was followed by a Grand Raffle for PGF charities with prizes, which included a gold ring, flat screen TV, portable DVD players, vouchers and drinks, all donated by local businesses and PGF.

This Grand Raffle raised over 27,000 Baht for PGF.
Le Cafe Royale also agreed to donate 10% of food and drink sales on the night and will be added to this sum.

Le Cafe Royale then introduced their new resident popular singers El Duo who, from August 2, will be appearing every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday, from 9.45pm until 1am along with regular singer Toi.
The young "duo" sang (and danced) to the delight of everyone present.

Another great night for everybody and PGF.
